Get Involved

In becoming a volunteer, you are joining a movement of supporters and advocates who strengthen the organisation while creating positive change for people with a disability to live great lives. Volunteering your time, skills, and resources is one of the most powerful ways to make a real difference.

You’ll make new friends, gain career and life experience and see the impact of your work on a daily basis.

We work with a range of volunteers who use their different skill sets to support us to help more people!
Current opportunities include:

PR & Marketing

Assist us to get our message out to our Nightlife community and stakeholders. Do you have great social media skills, on-line research ability, great networking skills and the desire to share useful information about our organisation and the sector? You will assist us to maintain our social media profile and assist with the production of membership newsletters and campaigns.

Fundraising

We rely on donations to go that extra mile to make a difference. Your ability to network and seek out opportunities to research local grants and opportunities, build relationships and follow up with our regular corporate and community sponsors allows us to provide more services to our service users and their families.

Governance

Our organisation is committed to maintaining a governance structure that comprises people with a disability, families and carers and people with strong industry backgrounds in finance, business development, clinical governance and human resources. We are currently seeking new general members with skills / backgrounds in:

Our Committee is a proactive and visionary group who meet monthly and lend their specialist skills to our Quality and Safety and Finance Sub-Committees. We offer our members induction, training and support to develop and grow their skills.

If you are interested, please contact the CEO Frances Sanders at fsanders@nightlife.org.au for a confidential discussion.

Note: All volunteers are required to undergo the NDIS worker check prior to commencement. All volunteers will undergo a service orientation and during this process the scope of their activities will be discussed.
